Who should I pick up: Tyler Conklin or Chris Herndon?

Question context
I unfortunely have Irv Smith, and even in an 8 team league I am suffering BADLY at the TE position. Neither one of these players would be a starter, but I just want some insurance for now as I don't intend to keep either one long-term. I could try to trade for one, but a spot on my roster opened up after moving Smith to my IR spot and I just want to make a quick move
